I teach watercolor to this awesome student. We’ve explored watercolor pencils and different type of watercolor paints (liquid, pan, and cream). This student is particularly interested in painting colorful creatures. For the “Colorful Cow,” she used watercolor pencils and liquid watercolor and learned to splatter and drip paint. We also talked about balance. It’s fun to guide her as she chooses what she wants to paint and explores different methods and techniques. I particularly enjoy watching her smile grow as we work.
